The Diocese of Dunkeld ( Latin : Dioecesis Dunkeldensis ), which has its seat in Dundee , is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland. It was on March 4, 1878 in the course of the restructuring of the Catholic Church in Scotland by Pope Leo XIII. erected with the papal bull Ex supremo apostolatus apice . It continues the name of the historic diocese of Dunkeld with the Dunkeld Cathedral , which existed from the 12th century until 1544.

There is also the diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane of the Scottish Episcopal Church .
