The Diocese of Sarh ( lat. : Dioecesis Sarhensis ) is in Chad location Roman Catholic diocese based in Sarh . It includes the regions of Moyen-Chari and Mandoul .

history

Pope John XXIII founded the diocese of Fort-Archambault with the Apostolic Constitution Latissimas Ecclesias on September 22, 1961 from cession of territory by the diocese of Fort-Lamy .

On August 22, 1972, it took on its current name. It lost part of its territory on December 1, 2001 to the Apostolic Prefecture of Mongo .
