The Diocese of Sibu ( lat. : Dioecesis Sibuensis ) is in Malaysia located Roman Catholic diocese based in Sibu .
history
The diocese of Sibu was established on December 22, 1986 by Pope John Paul II from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Kuching and subordinated to this as a suffragan . First Bishop was Dominic Su Haw Chiu .
