Boronów ( German Boronow , older also Baronow ) is a village and seat of the rural community of the same name in the powiat Lubliniecki , Poland . The village is located about 21 kilometers southwest of Częstochowa on the Liswarta ( Lisswarthe ).

To Gmina Ciasna following villages belong to a mayor's office : Dębowa Góra ( Dembowagora ), Grojec ( Grojetz ) Hucisko ( Althütten ) Sitki ( Schittek ) and Zumpy ( Sumpen ).

history
Boronow was part of the Lublinitz district . In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 356 votes were cast in Boronow to stay with Germany and 568 to join Poland. In the Boronow manor district 102 votes were for Germany and 58 for Poland. The constituency of Lublinitz, to which Boronow belonged, was subsequently divided between Germany and Poland. Boronow fell to Poland like the district town Lublinitz and became part of the Autonomous Voivodeship of Silesia .
Attractions
The landmark of the village is the Church of Our Lady, built in 1611, an Upper Silesian scrap wood church . Its founder was Count Andreas Dzierżanowski, the owner of Boronów. In 1719 Boronow was raised to a curate and in 1868 to an independent parish . An image of the church can also be found in the municipality's coat of arms.
