Brühl is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Weitra in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria .

In the cadastral community are the localities Oberbrühl with 48 inhabitants, Unterbrühl with 18 inhabitants and Tiefenbach with 50 inhabitants. The district of Am Böhmberg also belongs to Tiefenbach .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 76 building areas with 29,190 m² and 74 gardens on 31,835 m² in the cadastral municipality of Brühl, in 1989/1990 there were 74 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 258 and in 2009/2010 there were 99 buildings on 249 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 229 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 92 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 210 hectares and 106 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 203 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 110 hectares. The average soil climate of Brühl is 20.1 (as of 2010).
