Großwolfgers is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Weitra in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 81 building areas with 33,230 m² and 39 gardens on 23,855 m² in the cadastral community Großwolfgers, in 1989/1990 there were also 81 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 218 and in 2009/2010 there were 127 buildings on 227 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 420 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 269 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 368 hectares and 313 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 360 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 313 hectares. The average soil climate number of Großwolfgers is 21.1 (as of 2010).
