Sulz is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Weitra in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 17 building areas with 9,054 m² and 5 gardens on 6,087 m² in the cadastral community Sulz, in 1989/1990 there were also 17 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 60 and in 2009/2010 there were 36 buildings on 62 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 122 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 82 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 118 hectares and 86 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 113 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 86 hectares. Sulz's average soil climate number is 16.5 (as of 2010).
