Oberwindhag is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Weitra in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 23 building areas with 9,748 m² and 4 gardens on 6,256 m² in the cadastral municipality of Oberwindhag, and also in 1989/1990 there were 23 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 77 and in 2009/2010 there were 45 buildings on 79 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 140 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 52 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 140 hectares and 53 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 133 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 53 hectares. The average soil climate of Oberwindhag is 15.5 (as of 2010).
