Reinprechts is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Weitra in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria .

The place is located west of Weitra.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 73 building areas with 33,044 m² and 42 gardens on 32,897 m² in the cadastral municipality of Reinprechts , in 1989/1990 there were 73 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 220 and in 2009/2010 there were 121 buildings on 204 building areas.

Buildings

The local chapel was built from 1875 to 1877 according to plans by Johann Hölzl and is a listed building ( list entry ).

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 361 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 665 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 317 hectares and 707 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 309 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 708 hectares. The average soil climate in Reinprechts is 19.2 (as of 2010).
