The knight's seat, which was first documented in 1445, became the manor in 1548 . In 1814 August Schumann mentions Brausswig in the State, Post and Newspaper Lexicon of Saxony concerning a. a .:

“The village belongs to the official knight's estate located here , which has the higher and inheritance courts . The number of inhabitants is 112; they have 10 ¼  hooves and 50 cows. "

"

Braußwig was in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office Borna until 1856 . From 1856 the place belonged to the Borna court office and from 1875 to the Borna district administration . In 1935 the local manor was allowed to call itself “Rittergut Braußwig” in Dittmannsdorf in the future. The last owner was Kurt Klinghardt around 1912. The estate changed hands in 1945 and served as accommodation for resettlers . In 1935 Braußwig was incorporated into Dittmannsdorf, with whom Kitzscher came to be in 1974.
