Breitenau ( Lower Sorbian Bretna ) is a district of the town of Sonnewalde in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg .
Geography and transport links
Breitenau is east of the core town of Sonnewalde. The B 96 runs to the west and south . The north of the around 47 extends ha large nature reserve Gröbitzer Busch - Tannenberger swamp . Breitenau is on the Finsterwalde – Luckau railway line .
