The Bremerhaven was a seaside resort ship built in 1960 that was used in Helgoland traffic on the Bremerhaven - Helgoland route. It was later converted into a cruise ship.

The ship was built in 1960 under the number 19 at the Adler shipyard in Bremen as a seaside resort ship for Heligoland traffic. The launching of the ship took place on April 2, 1960. On May 29 of the year it was delivered to Bremer Helgoland Service GmbH and used on the route Bremerhaven-Helgoland in June.
In April 1965, the ship sank in the port of Bremerhaven, where it during the winter break launched was. It was lifted in May and sold to Piraeus- based Sun Line in July . Sun Line had the ship converted into a cruise ship and used it as the Stella Maris II for cruises in the Mediterranean , the Caribbean and the Amazon . 1995 to 1998 the ship drove for Royal Olympic Cruises .
In 1998 the ship was sold and in the winter of 1998/1999 Viking Cruises operated as Viking Bordeaux from Banjul in the Gambia , from spring 1999 onwards from the base port of Nantes .
In March 2003, the ship was launched in Eemshaven , the Netherlands under the name Bordeaux . It could only be sold in the Ukraine in April 2005 . The ship was then used as a Madagascar under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines by the South African based company Indian Ocean Cruises for cruises in the Indian Ocean before it was launched in Durban . Plans to use the ship again as a cruise ship failed. On April 15, 2008 it was bought at auction from an Indian scrapping yard and demolished in Alang .
