Brendan Meyer (born October 2, 1994 in Kitchener - Waterloo , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

life and career

Brendan Meyer was born in Kitchener-Waterloo in the Canadian province of Ontario in October 1994. He enjoyed home schooling instead of attending a public school. His acting career began at the age of eleven when he played a supporting role in the November 2005 sports biography film Waking Up Wally: The Walter Gretzky Story . Several appearances in films followed, including Tooth Fairy on probation , and television series. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he played a leading role in the British- Canadian adventure series Dinosapien . Since 2011 he can be seen in the title role of Adam Young in the Canadian youth series Mr. Young . In 2012 he was seen alongside Olivia Holt in the Disney Channel Original Movie Monster Against Girls .
