Bruckner is a German pop music duo from Regensburg , which consists of the two brothers Jakob Bruckner (* 1990 in Prien am Chiemsee ) and Matti Bruckner.

Band members

Jakob and Matti Bruckner are the sons of a music teacher, they have three other siblings, two sisters and a brother. They spent their childhood in Pittenhart near the Chiemsee and learned various instruments such as piano , guitar and bass . Jakob and Matti Bruckner attended the Hertzhaimer-Gymnasium Trostberg . 2010 Jacob Bruckner moved to Regensburg to English and Sport on teaching at the local university to study. Matthias Bruckner later also moved to Regensburg.

After Jakob Bruckner had won a music competition of the Passauer Neue Presse , he played two appearances as opening act for Christina Stürmer together with his brother Matti in 2013 , and she then signed the two of them for further concerts on Stürmer's tour Hör auf dein Herz . In 2015, together with his brother, he was Adel Tawil's support act at the open-air concert in Benediktbeuern Abbey . In 2016 Jakob Bruckner was support act at the concert of Mark Forster and Namika at the Burg Abenberg open air concert. In 2017 Jakob Bruckner was Sarah Connor's support act at the Bluetone Festival in Straubing. Jakob and Matti Bruckner have been performing professionally together as Duo Bruckner since autumn 2017 . From the end of October 2017 they played as the opening act for Gregor Meyle's tour . In March 2019, Bruckner was Max Giesinger's support act for three concerts in Hanover, Hamburg and Berlin. In 2019 you also played as the opening act for Revolverheld in Salzkotten and in Sauerlandpark Hemer .

This was followed by a record deal with Sony Music . After the release of their singles Weit weg , Tiptoe , September and Me and My Friends , a major tour of Germany was announced for 2020, which had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic .

Her debut album Hier was released on June 26, 2020 and entered the German album charts at number 32.
