Bundestag constituency Bautzen - Weißwasser
The Bundestag constituency Bautzen - Weißwasser was a constituency in Saxony in the federal elections in 2002 and 2005 . It had the constituency number 158 and included the former district of Bautzen as well as the municipalities of Bad Muskau , Weißwasser / OL , Boxberg / OL , Gablenz , Groß Düben , Hohendubrau , Klitten , Kreba-Neudorf , Krauschwitz , Mücka , Rietschen , Quitzdorf a.See , Loop , Trebendorf , Uhyst , Waldhufen and Weißkeißel of the former Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia District .
With the district reform of 2008, the constituencies in Saxony were fundamentally redesigned. The constituency of Bautzen - Weißwasser was dissolved. The area of the former Bautzen district was assigned to the newly formed Bautzen I constituency for the 2009 Bundestag election , and the communities in the former Lower Silesian Upper Lusatia district became part of the Görlitz Bundestag constituency .
