The Bundestag constituency Dessau - Wittenberg (constituency 70) is a constituency in Saxony-Anhalt that was newly established for the 2009 Bundestag election . It includes the independent city of Dessau-Roßlau and the district of Wittenberg .
With the district reform of 2007, the constituencies in Saxony-Anhalt were fundamentally redesigned. The new constituency was part of the constituency of Anhalt until the 2005 general election . A constituency with this name will also exist for the 2009 Bundestag election, but its area has been completely redesigned.
The constituency was number 71 in 2009 and was given number 70 for the 2013 federal election.
