The Bundestag constituency Burgenland - Saalekreis (constituency 73) is an electoral district in Saxony-Anhalt . It includes the Burgenland district and the Saale district the municipalities of Bad Dürrenberg , Braunsbedra , Leuna and Schkopau .

In the 2017 federal election , 151,811 residents were eligible to vote; the turnout was 68.0%. Dieter Stier won the direct mandate for the CDU again. Birke Bull-Bischoff (Die Linke) also moved into the Bundestag via the state list of her party.

The constituency 74 Burgenland went in the constituency reform of 2002 from the previous constituency 294 Zeitz - Nebra - Hohenmölsen - Naumburg indicate the former counties Zeitz , Hohenmölsen , Naumburg and Nebra included. For the 2009 federal election, the name of the constituency was changed from Burgenland to Burgenland - Saalekreis . The constituency was given number 73 for the 2013 federal election.
