The Burgstall Hartmannshof is an abandoned high medieval tower castle in the "Fleck" development area of Hartmannshof (Fleckstraße), a current district of the municipality of Pommelsbrunn in the district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria .

In 1982, the foundations of a tower castle, a presumably square residential tower with a wall thickness of around 2 meters, were uncovered in the historic “Weidental”, today's new building area “Fleck” . The type of masonry with ashlar stones suggests that the castle was built at the time of the Counts of Sulzbach , thus well before 1188, which is also supported by the preserved stock of square, rectangular and sometimes flat stones placed on edge . Furthermore, a layer of fire was found over a 0.2 m thick screed floor , which indicates fire destruction. The remains of the wall were backfilled and built over after the excavation due to the new building area.

The valley location of the castle point is much more likely to point to the "Turm im Weidental" attested to in 1325 than to the Breitenthal castle stable on a mountain spur near Breitenthal , a district of Weigendorf . In the document dated August 26, 1325 King forbade Ludwig of Bavaria the Konrad Schenk von Reicheneck destroyed by Nuremberg troops in the war against the taverns castrum (referred to as a tower in Weidental) rebuild.
