The Tower Hill Beerbach is an Outbound medieval motte (moth) about 50 meters north-northeast of St. Egidien in Beerbach , a modern suburb of Lauf in Nuremberg County in Bavaria .

Beerbach, mentioned for the first time in 1109, was the seat of the Reichsministerialiengeschlecht von Rückersdorf, who at times also called themselves after Beerbach and to which the castle can also be assigned. In 1234 Albert von Rückersdorf is mentioned in a document when he appeared on King Henry VII's court day in Würzburg . Albert's son Durinchart, who was possibly identical to the Durinchart from Beerbach attested in 1290, then named himself for the first time after Beerbach in 1255. In 1284 a Heinricus de Berbach vouched for Heinrich von Thann. In 1311 Konrad von Beerbach bequeathed part of his fortune to the Catherine's Monastery in Nuremberg , the last evidence of gender to date. The castle, also known as the tower castle, could have been built during the time of Durinchart and perished in the 14th century.

Around 1880 the round, still clearly recognizable tower hill, which still contained the remains of the wall, was removed and leveled.
