Reviews

Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times on June 14, 1976 that the comedy was one of the films that studio bosses might have thought great while it was being planned, but that it was an "unfortunate mix" of MASH and As the World Turns when finished . The comedy tries to be pathetic, satirical and romantic at the same time; all three attempts would fail. Ebert only praised the portrayal of Bill Cosby, who seemed "natural" , "funny" and "casual" .

The magazine TV direkt 13/2007 wrote that the film was a "vulgar mixture of action and satire" .

background

The film was in Oxnard ( California turned).
