action

After a year, Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends are coming back to Camp Rock for the summer. Meanwhile, on the other side of the lake, another music camp has been set up, Camp Star, which has lured many course instructors and campers away from Camp Rock. Luke Williams, a star who works at Camp Star, challenges Camp Rock and wants to show which camp has the better musical talent. Both camps are eagerly preparing for the performance to be shown on television. Meanwhile, Shane tries to get to know Mitchie better, which turns out to be not that easy. Mitchie and Shane argue and Shane is disappointed, but he forgives her and the two get to know each other better. In the final jam they appear as a duet. In the final jam, the audience in front of the television decides, whereupon the Camp Star wins, even if only through tricks by Axel. When everyone is sitting around the campfire, Shane and Mitchie talk briefly about their planned summer, but then they kiss. Shane and Mitchie are a couple. At the end of the film, many Camp Star campers notice that they could have a lot more fun at Camp Rock and ask Brown to reserve a spot for them at Camp Rock for the next year.
