The 22 cm cannon 532 (f) (f for French) was the French Canon de 220 L mle 1917 Schneider captured by the Wehrmacht in the western campaign in 1940 .
Four cannons were used, inter alia, at the Marine Artillery Department 604 in Cherbourg for coastal defense on the Atlantic Wall . The Radetzky battery on the Channel Island of Guernsey was equipped with this type of gun.
The cannon weighed 25,880 kilograms and could fire projectiles weighing 104.75 kilograms 22,800 meters.
