Carl Otto von Freymann adH Nursie (* between 1660 and 1670 in Dorpat ; † November 16, 1729 ) was Lord of Nursie , Swedish colonel and district administrator in Livonia .

Life

Together with his brothers Major General Reinhold Johann von Freymann (1680–1736) and Major General Johann Friedrich von Freymann († 1799) he served in Sweden and participated in the Great Northern War . Origin and family

Carl Otto was the son of the progenitor of the Baltic-Swedish noble family Freymann . In 1688 he married Katharina Elisabeth von Rothausen, who had inherited the Nursie estate from her father. Nursie was later divided into old and new Nursie, old Nursie became the ancestral home of the family, and since then his descendants have had the suffix “adH (from the house) Nursie”.
