Carmen Korn

Carmen Korn-Hubschmid (born November 28, 1952 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer and journalist . She writes under her maiden name Carmen Korn.

Life

Carmen Korn, daughter of the composer and songwriter Heinz Korn and his wife Anneliese, spent childhood and youth in Cologne as the older of two children (a younger brother) . After completing her training at the Henri Nannen School in Hamburg, she worked as an editor for “ Stern ”. In the following years she worked regularly for “ Brigitte ”, “Viva” and “ Die Zeit ” and began to write books.

Carmen Korn is married to the journalist and translator Peter Christian Hubschmid (son of Paul Hubschmid ), has a son and a daughter and lives with her family in Hamburg-Uhlenhorst . She continues to work as a freelance journalist, but is mainly dedicated to writing.
