Caroline Scholze

Caroline Scholze (* 1975 in Schmölln ) is a German actress .

Life

Caroline Scholze grew up in Brandenburg an der Havel . She comes from a family of actors. Her grandparents Hildegard Schirrmeister and Heinz Scholze already practiced this profession. Her mother Sabine Scholze is a theater actress at the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam and her father Jürgen Mai was director of the Dresden Comedy until 2011 . Her sister Theresa Scholze , who is four and a half years younger, is also an actress.

Caroline Scholze gained her first theater experience in the youth theater group of the Brandenburg Theater . Between 1995 and 2000 Scholze studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . During her studies she received roles at the Schauspielhaus Leipzig. Following her training, she worked at the Hanover Theater and the Potsdam Artists' Colony.

Since 2001 Scholze has played the role of Leni Trautzschke in the TV series SOKO Leipzig . From 2009 to 2012 she was seen in the role of the inn owner Maren Jantzen in the television series Der Landarzt .

She also appeared in the television series Notruf Hafenkante , Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei , Coast Guard and Wolffs Revier , as well as in Polizeiruf 110 and in Tatort .

Caroline Scholze has been married to actor Paul T. Grasshoff since 2004 and has three children.
