Caverion Deutschland GmbH , based in Munich, is a German provider of technical building equipment in all trades as well as facility services and energy saving contracting. Caverion Germany is a subsidiary of the Finnish Caverion Group.
Company history
The Caverion Group was created in the course of the spin-off of the building technology and industrial service divisions from the Finnish YIT Group in 2013. In Germany, the entire YIT Germany became Caverion Deutschland GmbH.
YIT entered the German market in 2008 with the takeover of the building technology division from the Austrian group MCE AG and also acquired the national companies in Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania. The origins in Germany go back to the Stangl company, founded in 1929 by Xaver Stangl as a workshop for heating construction and installations in Deggendorf, Lower Bavaria.
In 2010, the Caverion Group was acquired, which was created through a management buy-out from the M + W Zander group of companies . The naming rights from this acquisition meant that the divisions spun off in 2013 became independent under the name Caverion. The Caverion Group is listed as an independent public company on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Field of activity
The company designs and installs utility systems. These include heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, electrical engineering, as well as measurement, control and regulation technology or fire protection, with advanced technology being tailored to the individual requirements of the property.
After the completion of the buildings, the company takes over the technical and infrastructural building management. The services include the operation of the technical systems, maintenance , monitoring as well as fault and emergency services. Energy saving contracting and FM consulting are also part of the range of services.
