The Channel Islands are a small uninhabited archipelago of the Andreanof Islands , which belong to the Aleutian Islands . The islands are only a few hundred meters in size and are located in the Bay of Islands of Adak Island . The name was given by the US Navy Aleutian Island Survey Expedition in 1933.
