Dora Island is a small uninhabited island of the Andreanof Islands , which belong to the Aleutian Islands . Dora is located in the Bay of Islands , Adak Island . The island, about 1,600 m long and 60 m high, got its name in 1934 from the members of the American Aleutian expedition. The name Dora comes from a steamer that was on the high seas in the Aleutian region for many years.
