Igitkin Island is an uninhabited island of the Andreanof Islands , which belong to the Aleutian Islands .

The 10.8 km long and just above sea level island is located between Adak Island and Atka Island , 4.8 km southeast of Great Sitkin Island . Igitkin is separated into two equal parts by an isthmus about 1 km wide .

The island was first recorded in nautical charts by Joseph Billings under its Aleut name Egilka in 1790 .
