Chen Haibin ( Chinese  陈海斌 ; born May 22, 1986 in Jilin ) is a Chinese biathlete .

Chen is a sports soldier , lives in Dalian and has been a member of the Chinese national biathlon team since 2003. He starts for the Chinese Biathlon Association . He contested his first international races in 2004. First, he entered the Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne and was 39th in the sprint, 41st in the pursuit and 55th in the individual. This was followed by the 2004 Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where Chen was 84th in the individual and 90th in the sprint competition. With the relay he did not reach the goal. The Chinese achieved a very good result with 17th place in the individual at the pre-Olympic test competitions in Cesana San Sicario . After that, Chen was not employed for five years. It was not until 2008 that he returned to the national team and in 2009 he again played his first international competitions as part of the IBU Cup . In Ruhpolding he made his debut as 102nd of the sprint in his first pure biathlon World Cup race. The highlight was the 2009 biathlon world championships in Pyeongchang . At his second biathlon world championships , Chen started in two races. In the sprint, he did not reach the target, the season he was together with Zhang Qing , Zhang Chengye and Li Zhonghai as a cage rotor 24 in 2010 , he denied the Military World Ski Championships in Brusson and was the 26th of the sprint and Li Huanjie, ZHANG CHENGYE and Ren Long sixth in the military patrol race. Since the 2010/11 season, Chen has been increasingly used in the World Cup and IBU Cup. In 2012 he reached 72nd place in a sprint in Kontiolahti, her best result in the highest racing series. In 2012 he took part in your third world championships in Ruhpolding . In individual he was 94th, in sprint 102nd, with Tang Jialin , Song Chaoqing and Ren Long 26th in the mixed relay race and with Li Zhonghai, Ren Long and Zhang Chengye 24th in the men's relay.

In cross-country skiing, Haibin contested his first international race in Tarvisio as part of the 2003 Winter Universiade and was 43rd in the 30-kilometer freestyle, 72nd in the freestyle sprint and 63rd in the 10-kilometer classic. Two years later , at the Universiade in Seefeld, he was 65th in the 30-kilometer classic, 77th in the 10-kilometer freestyle and 70th in the freestyle sprint. The 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin became a career highlight . At the races of Pragelato Plan , he missed the finals as 70th in the freestyle sprint qualification. A little later he competed for the first time in a race of the cross-country skiing world cup and was 40th in the freestyle sprint in Changchun .
