Chrischa Hannawald (born February 4, 1971 in Illertissen ) is a German handball trainer and former handball goalkeeper . He is 1.88 meters tall and weighs 102 kg.
Career
society
Chrischa Hannawald started with handball at HC Wuppertal . During his active career he played for TV Eitra , GWD Minden , LTV Wuppertal , TUSEM Essen and TV Großwallstadt in the handball league . After the 2007/08 season he ended his career and moved to the marketing department of TV Großwallstadt.
Due to injury concerns at the then second division Bergischen HC , Hannawald returned from October 2008 to the end of the 2008/09 season. In the summer of 2009 he became an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at Bergisches HC and was also responsible for the club's marketing. In November 2009, after Raimo Wilde's leave of absence, he was temporarily responsible for looking after the team.
From December 20 to 31, 2009, Chrischa Hannawald was signed by HSV Hamburg as goalkeeper for the last games before the European Championship break due to Johannes Bitter's injury , and from November 2010 the Rhein-Neckar Löwen took him as a replacement for the injured Henning Fritz under contract.
National team
Chrischa Hannawald denied for the German national handball team 19 internationals, he was part of the squad for the World Cup 2001 in France and won with the team at the European Championship 2002 in Sweden the silver medal .

Hannawald's trademark was that he stood in the gate in shorts and with a face mask .
The trained locksmith has been working as an independent entrepreneur in his handball school Chrischa Hannawald (handball camps for children and young people from 8 to 14 years of age) since January 2012.
In addition to his work as an assistant / goalkeeper trainer at Bergischer HC, he has been playing for the OFC Solingen football club since October 27, 2011.
Since June 2015 Chrischa Hannawald has been playing for the DJK Brebersdorf / Vasbühl in the A and B classes in the soccer goal.
From 2015 to 2016 he was responsible for sponsoring and sales at the second division club DJK Rimpar . Afterwards he was responsible for the acquisition of sponsors and players as well as for the youth work at the regional division TG Heidingsfeld.
Hannawald trained the HSC Bad Neustadt from the 2018/19 season . Under his leadership, the HSC Bad Neustadt rose to the 3rd division . After HSC Bad Neustadt lost the first five league games in the 2019/20 season, the club separated from him.
