Christa Czempiel

Christa Czempiel , née Dahlhoff , (born February 28, 1925 in Berlin ; † July 10, 2007 in Marburg ) was a German politician ( SPD ). She was the wife of the political scientist and peace researcher Ernst-Otto Czempiel .

Political party

Christa Czempiel joined the SPD and was a member of the State Executive Committee of the Social Democrats in Hesse from 1987 to 1995 .

MPs

Christa Czempiel was a council member of the city of Marburg and chairman of the city council. She was a member of the German Bundestag from January 22, 1979, when she replaced the late Member of Parliament Egon Höhmann , until 1980 and from 1983 until her resignation on July 5, 1984. She entered parliament in both electoral terms via the Hesse state list.

Public offices

In 1984/85 Christa Czempiel officiated as State Secretary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Hesse at the federal government in the state government headed by Prime Minister Holger Börner . During her term of office, the office of the state government at the European Union was set up in Brussels .
