Christian Karsch (* 9. December 1979 in Kaiserslautern as Christian Karch ) is a German reporter , journalist , television producer , director , lecturer and moderator .

life and career

Karsch was born in Kaiserslautern. Since 2008 he has been a reporter and host at ProSieben u. a. for the knowledge magazine " Galileo ". Here he is u. a. in the “Catch me” section, where he tries out jobs undercover. So he excited u. a. 2014 caused a stir when he fooled the team of the then third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt into being a potential assistant coach. Bild also reported on this .

In 2016 he was editorially responsible for the comedy formats " Bohemian Browser Ballet " and " Walulis ". In 2018 Karsch was nominated for the Grimme Online Award 2018 with the Bohemian Browser Ballet .

In 2009 he was seen in the comedy format " Broken Comedy " on the station ProSieben and "Lucky Lück" on Sat.1 Comedy and also worked as a writer. He was also previously a freelance writer for various TV magazines (including Kabel eins : Adventure Life , Taff, etc.). Karsch is also editor-in-chief and managing director of the television production company, which u. a. Produced television programs for ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.

From 2008 to 2009 he was the presenter of the radio station 99.6.

Between 2002 and 2009 he was presenter and reporter on the comedy TV show, which was produced for Comedy Central and Saar TV . This show gave its name to his stage name "Karsch". The logo of the show a two-tone butt. In 2004 he won the German Regional Television Prize for the best show production with this format. He has been featured in the online video magazine Probono TV since 2014.

Karsch is the creator of the ten-part web series Patchwork Gangsta / funk / ARD. He was a showrunner, wrote the scripts and edited and directed the film with director Eric Hordes .

Karsch lives in Saarbrücken .
