Christian Martin Fuchs

Christian Martin Fuchs (born December 3, 1952 in Vienna ; † October 6, 2008 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian librettist and dramaturge .

Life

Christian Martin Fuchs studied theater studies, philosophy and German at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1983 with Wolfgang Greisenegger . During his student days he was a co-founder of the Vienna city newspaper Falter . In 1981 he became a dramaturge at the Regensburg City Theater . In 1983 he moved to the Salzburg State Theater ; from 1988 to 2004 he was chief dramaturge there.

He also published libretti, short stories and non-fiction books. As a screenwriter he worked with Reinhard Schwabenitzky .

Christian Martin Fuchs died 55-year-old a cancer .
