Christian Pflügl

Christian Pflügl (born December 24, 1978 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian long-distance runner .

Career

In 1998 he was national champion in the half marathon and in 1999 and 2004 in cross-country running . In 2006 he was runner-up in the 10,000 m (as in 2000 and 2003), in cross-country running and in the half marathon. At the road running world championships in Debrecen he came in 67th place. In 2007 he was again national runner-up in cross-country skiing and was 69th at the World Road Running Championships in Udine .

In 2008 he became national runner-up in cross-country running and 10 km road running . At the Linz marathon he was fourth in 2:19:56 h, and at the marathon in the triangle he was the overall winner of the national champion. In 2009 he was runner-up in cross-country skiing and national champion in the marathon as the overall winner of the Salzburg marathon .

Christian Pflügl is 1.77 m tall, weighs 64 kg and is a sporting goods seller by profession. He is trained by Manfred Pröll and switched from LCAV doubrava to IGLA long life Frankenmarkter for the 2010 season . He lives in St. Konrad , has been married since 2005 and has two children.
