Christian Traoré (born April 18, 1982 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player . The defender has played his career so far in his home country, in Sweden and in Norway .

Career

Traoré comes from the youth of KB Copenhagen, which he left for FC Copenhagen . For this he made his first steps in the adult field as a young player when he made his debut in the Danish Super League in August 2001 . Initially, the game against Aalborg BK was his only competitive game in the highest Danish league, in 2002 the club loaned him to the Swedish first division club Hammarby IF in Stockholm. There he ran in eight games in the Allsvenskan . Even after his return to Denmark he did not establish himself at FC Copenhagen and only sporadically contributed to the championships in 2003 and 2004, only in the 2004/05 season he was increasingly in the starting line-up.

In the summer of 2005, Traoré moved within the Superliga to FC Midtjylland , where he was a regular player under coach Erik Rasmussen and reached seventh place in the table with the team around Simon Poulsen , Mikkel Thygesen and Anders Rasmussen . At the beginning of his second year at the club only a supplementary player, he returned to Hammarby IF in Sweden in early 2007. There he was a regular for long stretches, but at the end of the 2009 season he was relegated with the team to the second-class Superettan . In spring, the club loaned him to the Norwegian club Hønefoss BK for a half-series in the Tippeligaen , for which he played 13 league games by the summer. He then returned to Hammarby IF, where he clearly missed promotion as table eight at the end of the second division season 2010 . At the side of Sebastian Castro-Tello , Petter Furuseth , Andreas Dahl , David Johansson and Patrik Gerrbrand , however, he ran in the national cup final against the first division Helsingborgs IF in November of that year . He lost his last competitive game before his contract expired with a goal from Rasmus Jönsson with a 0-1 defeat.

After several months without a contract, Traoré joined the Danish club Randers FC in February 2011 , with whom he signed a contract valid until the summer of that year. Ultimately, he did not get beyond the status of a supplementary player, by the end of the 2010/11 season , he played seven season games. Again he was then briefly without a club, in September the league rival Lyngby BK signed him until the end of the season. At first he was on the side of Rune Pedersen , Dennis Cagara and Bajram Fetai but regulars, moved for a dismissal in the second term. As a result, after a total of eleven league appearances, the club refrained from extending their engagement. In the summer of 2012 he therefore moved to the second division to HB Køge .
