Christoph Kaps

Christoph Kaps (born October 7, 1959 in Munich ) is a German master organ builder . His workshop is located in the Eichenau industrial park .

Kaps received piano lessons from 1970 and organ lessons from 1973. Since 1975 he has been organist in Altlochham. From 1976 to 1979 he trained as an organ and harmonium builder in Munich and Ludwigsburg. In 1980 he worked as a journeyman in Munich and Regensburg. After completing the master craftsman examination in 1985, the company was founded in 1986. In 2002 the company relocated to Gilching and in 2007 to Eichenau.

Christoph Kaps builds one- and two-manual organs with mechanical slide chests . He also restores historical instruments.
