Career

Van Holt's career began in 1995 with the first band X-Wave. At the age of 15, he composed his first tracks quite awkwardly at the time. Over the years he deepened his passion for music and art and ultimately became something of a fictional character himself. With various pseudonyms such as DJ Magma , Chrizzy Gee (see also Interactive ), Van Deesel and Xtatica (which he also had a trademark), he produced music almost continuously from then on. He had his first number one hit as a producer in 1998 on Mallorca with the artist Kim Cline (Sun, Palms and Beach & Beach Whispers). Through his contacts with Jens Lissat , Franca Morgano (Omen III) and various hits like Michelle , Nicole , Frank Zander and Olaf Henning , his level of awareness increased. Together with Lissat's ex-girlfriend Betty Bizarre, he entered the Swiss dance charts at number 52 in 2012. His track Adrenaline stayed at number 1 and 2 on Traxxsource for four weeks.

With the pseudonym Eat Dis! In 2013 he got support from Paul van Dyk and other well-known DJs with the track Suicide . Christopher van Holt is the only one who has official approval to use the ringtone from the film One Missed Call , which he regularly re-releases. For VOX, he first shot the spin-off series of Rent - Buy - Live , Endlich zu HOME together with Betty Bizarre , which he continued to shoot with a model friend after the first show. The program was canceled due to a lack of viewership, but the episodes with Van Holt are still repeated in VOX's early program to this day. After the first TV appearances, programs like RTL Explosive (When clothing bothers you at work) followed, which is still repeated to this day, as well as a guest role in Markus - Car Dealer from the Pot . Since then he has been booked by every kind of artist for photos and music videos.

In 2011 and 2012, Christopher van Holt produced a casting show in Frankfurt, the Luckystar, the profit of which was € 500 in cash, a song of his own including a music video and an appearance at the CSD Frankfurt during broadcast time.

In 2009 Van Holt also began photography, which he calls extrography (made up of extravagant and photography) due to the style. Van Holt is now one of the leading producers and graphic designers for pop and hit stars and appears every year at the CSD together with gay icon Wanda Kay .

Van Holt has owned his own label Van Holt Recordings since 2011 , with which he wants to give young artists the chance to “throw their own CD on the market”.

His new project 2014 Cyberbird already took part in the Swiss preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest and was featured on Swiss television and radio 24/7. Cyberbird is a fictional character in which Van Holt goes on stage in a huge feather outfit and presents a song in a mixture of dance and opera voice. Unfortunately after the first round of the ESC it was over and so he still applied for Germany, but did not get any further due to the great competition. At the end of 2014 Cyberbird will be launching two more songs ("Dreammelody" and "Silence") in preparation for 2015.

In 2014 the name Van Holt was protected as a patent for Germany by Christopher van Holt.

In 2014 van Holt again took part in the Swiss preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest . This time together with erotic model and fitness trainer July Diamond. With their song "She's A Criminal", the two wanted to critically draw attention to the development of today's youth in society. Of the more than 250 submitted videos, the two artists made it into the 30 best videos, but did not make it into the top 9 to get into the 2nd round.
