Ciche is a village in the municipality of Czarny Dunajec in the Nowotarski powiat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland in the Podhale region . The village is on Voivodeship Road 958 . The village is located between the Pogórze Gubałowskie mountain range and the Kotlina Nowotarska valley, about seven kilometers northwest of Zakopane and 2 km north of Witów . The Cichy mountain stream flows through the village . The place lies on the slopes of Gruszków Wierch .

Attractions

Ciche was founded in 1593. The place name can be translated as silent . In the village there are two churches, one of St. Joseph and one of St. Mary, as well as numerous wooden chapels from the 19th century.

tourism

It is quieter in Ciche than in the neighboring ski resorts of Zakopane or Kościelisko. The tourist infrastructure is being expanded.
