The Communauté de communes Maurienne-Galibier is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It is named after its location in the Maurienne below the Col du Galibier and was founded in 2001 by converting a previous form created at the end of 1990 (district) .

tasks

The competencies required include developing and promoting economic activities and tourism. The community association controls housing policy, operates road maintenance and rescue services and is active in environmental issues such as wastewater treatment, garbage collection and garbage disposal. In addition, it promotes cultural, sporting and extracurricular activities.
