The Communauté de communes de l ' Arentèle-Durbion-Padozel was a communal union of twelve communities northeast of Épinal in the Vosges department in Lorraine .

The municipal association had 3,482 inhabitants (January 1, 2007) on 103.46 km², which corresponded to a population density of 34 inhabitants / km². The seat of the association was the municipality of Girecourt-sur-Durbion .

The area of ​​the association was in the transition area between the western foothills of the Vosges and flatter land near the Moselle . The name of the municipal association refers to the three small rivers Durbion (right tributary of the Moselle) as well as Arentèle and Padozel (both tributaries of the Mortagne ). Eleven parishes from the Arrondissement Épinal belonged to the local authority association .

The community association was founded in 2003 to pool the material resources of the very small communities and to coordinate economic development.

The area of ​​responsibility of the municipal association includes regional planning as well as cross-municipal economic and tourism development. The Communauté de communes de l'Arentèle-Durbion-Padozel has also set itself the goal of working closely together in the areas of road rehabilitation, housing construction and flood protection.

On January 1, 2014, the municipal association merged with the Vallée de la Vologne and Canton de Brouvelieures associations to form the new municipal association Bruyères-Vallons des Vosges .
