The Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Vologne was a municipal association ( Communauté de communes ) of 18 municipalities in the Vosges department in Lorraine .

The municipal association had 10,838 inhabitants (2006) on 110.63 km², which corresponded to a population density of 98 inhabitants / km².

The seat of the association was the small town of Bruyères . With the exception of Charmois-devant-Bruyères, all member municipalities were located on the middle and lower reaches of the Vologne , a Moselle tributary in the Vosges or on one of the tributaries of the Vologne.

The local authority association was founded on December 30, 2002 in order to pool the material resources of the communities and to coordinate economic development.

The area of ​​responsibility of the municipal association includes regional planning as well as cross-municipal economic and tourism development. The Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Vologne has also set itself the goal of working closely together in the areas of culture and communication as well as quality of living.

On January 1, 2014, the community association merged with the associations L'Arentèle-Durbion-Padozel and Canton de Brouvelieures to form the new community association Bruyères-Vallons des Vosges .
