The Communauté de communes de la Région de Rambervillers is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Vosges in the Grand Est region . The community association was founded on December 16, 2006 and comprises 30 communities. The administrative headquarters are located in Rambervillers . The area is located on the western edge of the Vosges Mountains in south-east Lorraine.

Historical development

The community association was originally founded by 20 communities. With effect from January 1, 2014, ten additional, previously independent municipalities joined the association.

tasks

The municipal association was created to bundle the material resources of the municipalities and to coordinate economic development. The tasks of the municipal association include the harmonization and coordination of questions of spatial planning and economic development. This includes the promotion of craft, trade, commerce, agriculture and tourism, but also the rehabilitation of brownfield sites. The Communauté de communes de la Région de Rambervillers has also set itself the goal of working closely together in the fields of cultural, sports and educational facilities, rehabilitation and renaturation of water bodies, improving the quality of living space and waste disposal. In addition, the aim is to build a new senior citizens' home.
