The Communauté de communes du Cœur du Poitou is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on June 21, 1993 and comprised 27 parishes. The administrative seat was in Melleran .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes du Cellois, Cœur du Poitou, Mellois et du Val de Boutonne while at the same time founding the Commune nouvelle Alloinay from the communities of Les Alleuds and Gournay-Loizé.
