Cosa is a district of the city of Friedland in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Geography and transport links

Cosa is located southeast of the core town of Friedland. Not far to the west runs the county road K 113 and lies the neighboring village Brohm , also a district of Friedland. The state road L 282 runs east, the L 281 and B 197 run west and the A 24 south. The Brohm reservoir with the Brohm dam extends to the west and north of the village and the Eichhorst nature reserve in the Schönbeck forest to the southwest .
