Costa Airlines is a Venezuelan airline . The company was founded in 2012. As of October 2014, the company owns three Bombardier CRJ200s , which will be used to fly from Maracaibo to Caracas and Porlamar . There are also plans to include Barcelona and San Antonio del Táchira in the flight plan and to fly to regional destinations such as Aruba , Curaçao , Santo Domingo , Medellín and Barranquilla . In the long term, the company also plans to offer flights to Peru , Ecuador and Brazil .

However, the airline never took off.
