Cotton Cay is a small island in the Turks Islands group . It is located about 2.7 kilometers northeast of Salt Cay and, like this one, belongs to the British overseas territory of the Turks and Caicos Islands .
The island is flat, elongated in shape and about 1.13 km² in size. Some paths in the southwest suggest that the island, which is now uninhabited, was once used.
