Long Cay is an uninhabited island of the Caicos Islands, 4.8 kilometers long and on average only 150 meters wide . It is located 800 meters southwest of the coastal town of Cockburn Harbor on the island of South Caicos .
The narrow Long Cay is located on the southeastern outer reef of the Caicos Islands, is sparsely overgrown and consistently rocky. At its widest point (700 meters), the craggy cliffs protrude up to 18 meters above sea level.
Long Cay, the nearby Middleton Cay and the Six Hill Cays group are popular destinations for deep sea anglers and scuba divers . The islands are part of the National Park Admiral Cockburn Land & Sea National Park .
