Courtney Peldon
Courtney Peldon (born April 13, 1981 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .
Life
Peldon began her career in 1986 as a child actress with a guest role on an episode of the Ellen Burstyn Show . In 1989 she was in the pilot episode for the planned but never realized television adaptation of the movie The Night of Adventures in the role of Sara Anderson , who was played in the film by Maia Brewton . That same year she made her Broadway debut at the age of eight . She played in the musical Meet Me in St. Louis at the side of Betty Garrett and Milo O'Shea in 252 performances at the Gershwin Theater , the role of Tootie . She then played a recurring guest role between 1991 and 1992 on the sitcom Bigfoot and the Hendersons , which was based on the feature film of the same name . She made her feature film debut in 1992 in the comedy A Yuppie Standing in the Woods next to Matthew Broderick . For this she received her first of three awards at the Young Artist Awards in 1993 . She received another award in 1994 for a guest appearance in the series Superman - The Adventures of Lois & Clark . Between 1996 and 1998 she starred in the sitcom Listen, Who Hammers, the friend of Randy , the son of the self-proclaimed “do-it-yourselfer” Tim Taylor , for which she was awarded the third Young Artist Award.
In the following years she played guest roles in series such as Pretender , Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Wild Seventies and was seen in several television films and a small supporting role in the feature film Without Words . In seasons three and four of the series Boston Public , she again had a recurring guest role. Between 2005 and 2006 she worked as a voice actor and spoke several roles in the Disney - animated series The Emperor's New School and a guest role in WITCH From 2008 to 2011 she behind the camera as a casting associate for the reality show Millionaire Matchmaker operates.
Peldon is married and has no children. Her younger sister Ashley Peldon is also an actress.
