In 1844 30 families came from Saderlach . Each family got 16 yoke fields. The residents spoke Alemannic . Between 1850 and 1870 more than 100 families from all over the Banat moved to Kowatsch. New dialects were added. The Alemannic was replaced by the Rhine-Franconian and finally had to give way to the Palatinate .
